“Die Strecke von Reading nach Southampton in England.
In Reading wurde 2011 die mumifizierte Hand des Apostel Jakobus
als Reliquie in einem Glaskasten ausgestellt..
Sonst ist sie in der St Peter’s Church in Marlow aufbewahrt.
Vier Tage wunderschöne englische Landschaften und Gebäude,
Vier tage voller englischer Humor ( an manche Orte unverständlich 🙂 )
In Southampton sind dann die Pilger in Schiffe eingestiegen, die sie
auf dem Kontinent brachten um dann über Frankreich nach Santiago weiter zu laufen
Oder direkt bis nach ‘El Ferrol’ in Spanien zu schippern und von dort
die letzten 120km nach Santiago zu Pilgern (Camino Inglés).
