I write to you this letter in answer to your offer to work like hospitalero this year. A pleasure is for us to be able to attend to your request and we want your collaboration in Viana’s albergue (Navarre),
Viana’s albergue is parochial and is placed close to the church in the Plaza of the Jurisdictions, in fact, there is a direct access from this one to the church.
Thealbergue has kitchen that is to your entire disposition. A lounge has, in addition, dining room, two baths each one with shower, two bedrooms with mattress of 5 and 11 seats respectively (though it is possible to accommodate up to 20 pilgrims) and a room for the hospitalero (that two persons can occupy).
The person in charge of the albergue is the priest parson, Don José María. His telephone is 948 645 037. Also we must comment to you that in Viana another albergues exists, municipally, that relies on very good facilities and that it is necessary to get to have good relation.
Information about the mass offers at 8 p.m., benediction for the pilgrim and visit to the sacristy. After having dinner when the priest offers also awhile as prayer in the choir of the church. Or the hospitalero if feels with capacity for it (all this is free).
It offers a dinner jointly (the hospitalero prepares it with the help of the pilgrims. Basic notions of cuisine are needed, therefore. For the launch time (in principle) is recommended to the people to eat out. The economic maintenance is based on donations. A box is left in the foyer of the albergue and each one adds what seems to him to be correc
For any explanation you can contact with us in the telephone of our office in Logroño (941 245 674, in schedule of tomorrow, of 8:00 to 3:00). Only we ask you to be, if it is possible, in the aalbergue one day before beginning your fortnight to be able to coincide with the hospitalero that they goes away and to be able to exchange ideas and experiences.
